It looks great but says nothing.
The page loads beautifully. Clean fonts, nice colors, smooth animations. Then you read the headline and can't tell what the business actually does. Or who it's for. Or why anyone should care.
You'll see this if
- Vague headlines like 'Empower Your Journey' or 'Transform Your Business'
- Copy that sounds like it was written by a committee
- Beautiful hero images with no concrete promise
- No mention of the actual customer's actual problem
The real cause
The team fell in love with the design before they figured out the message. Aesthetics became a distraction from clarity.
How to fix it
Strip everything back to one line: 'We help [specific person] do [specific thing] so they can [specific outcome].' If you can't fill that in without buzzwords, your message is broken. Fix that before touching anything visual.
'Empower Your Journey' → 'Sell your online course to 500+ students in 6 months, without doing another launch webinar.'
